The workshops on Thursday
afternoon are open to all members. One of the
workshops already confirmed will focus on "Senior
Safety - Anti-fraud" and will be presented by Ryan
Sothan, Consumer Outreach Coordinator for the
Consumer Protection and Anti-Trust Division within
the Nebraska Attorney General's Office.
Slated for the convention
keynote presentation on Friday morning is "Helen's
Musical Hats" by Helen Waring Johnson from Geneva,
NE.
Local Units are being
encouraged to provide a theme basket or package
for convention attendees to purchase chances on to
be a "lucky winner." The proceeds from the ticket
sales will go toward the NARSP Active Educator
Scholarship.
More information regarding costs, registration,
lodging reservations, and presenters/speakers will
be forthcoming as they become finalized and posted
on this website.
